Speaking to NOS, Cody Gakpo has been discussing his future amid all sorts of transfer speculation.
By now it feels as though Gakpo has been linked with almost every club in Europe from Leeds United and Southampton to Arsenal and Real Madrid.
Arsenal are thought to be amongst the clubs most keen on Gakpo – they even scouted him last week, but the winger didn’t name the Gunners when speaking about his dream destinations next summer.
Indeed, Gakpo omitted Arsenal from his list of clubs he’d most like to play for, but interestingly, Liverpool did get a mention.

Gakpo on Liverpool
The Dutch star said it would be an honour to play for a club like Liverpool.
“PSV was always my dream club. I don’t really have one for the rest,” Gakpo said when asked about his dream club.
“Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool. It would be an honour to play there, but I also have to see what kind of team I can best achieve my goals.” would come right.”
Great fit
Gakpo says that it would be an honour to play for Liverpool, and the Merseyside club could do a lot worse than signing the PSV star.
Fast, strong, skilful and brilliant in front of goal. Gakpo is exactly the type of player the Reds need to provide more depth in their attack.
Pep Lijnders is reportedly a big fan of Gakpo, and after a remarkable start to the season with PSV, he should be on the Reds’ radar.
The Merseyside club will face some stiff competition if they want to enter this race, but after these comments, it’s clear to see that Gakpo would be open to a move to Anfield.
