Huddersfield Town have impressed many this season with their attractive brand of football.

Terriers boss David Wagner sat down for an exclusive interview with BBC Sport, and discussed the current togetherness that is present amongst his squad, highlighting a pre-season trip to the Swedish wilderness in the summer of 2016 as a major contributing factor behind that.
Huddersfield have enjoyed a respectable start to life in the top flight, with three wins and three draws coming from their opening nine Premier League games, and they were sensational during their 2-1 win over Manchester United on Saturday.

Wagner has earned plaudits from fans and pundits alike for the brand of football that he is spearheading at the John Smith’s Stadium, and with a return of 12 points already, survival is looking like a very real prospect for the Terriers this term.
And the Huddersfield boss sat down for an exclusive interview with Gary Lineker for BBC Sport, explaining how a pre-season trip to the Swedish wilderness 18 months ago brought his group of players together more as a unit:
“We were on this island without electricity…we wanted to bring the group together, that was the idea of it. It paid off, yes. It wasn’t the nicest one (bonding session), very uncomfortable. During the time there, they were so excited about it because it was so new, maybe they moaned, but I didn’t hear it. They said they felt like humans, rather than professional footballers.”

Next up for the west Yorkshire outfit is a trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Saturday, and if they manage to leave Merseyside with all three points, Huddersfield fans really will be in dreamland.
