Roy Keane went on a rant about Tottenham Hotspur on Sky Sports last weekend and had quite an argument with fellow pundit Jamie Redknapp.
The Manchester United legend made it clear that he does not rate the current Tottenham squad highly.
While Keane is a fan of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, he does not think that the rest of the players in the squad are exactly great.
Former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp defended the players and made counter-arguments, and it made for good television.
Tottenham left-back Sergio Reguilon was following it all live on TV, and he has now said exactly how he reacted to it.
Reguilon told The Mirror: “This is Roy Keane’s opinion but we have a lot of top-class players who can play in every team. We have the best players but thank you, Jamie, for defending me. It was so funny — he was really angry. I watched that and smiled a lot, it was very nice.”

Not taking any notice
True, there are not too many world-class footballers in the current Tottenham squad, but Spurs still have a strong bunch of players.
The fact that Jose Mourinho’s side are in the running for the Premier League top four and have progressed to the Europa League Round of 16 shows that they are more than an average team.
Keane is entitled to his opinion, but that does not mean that Spurs should take any notice of it.
