Eberechi Eze has shared that it was Arsenal who first made him fall in love with football when he was a young kid, as he told Football Focus.
The Crystal Palace player highlighted watching the likes of Thierry Henry in action when Arsenal were donning the Maroon away kit for the 2005/06 season.
Those were the days when Arsenal were at the top of English football and produced some of their finest-ever players and teams.

Whilst Mikel Arteta has the north London club bringing back those positive vibes of the past back, after years and years of struggle, there is still a long way to go to reach those levels.
But what that Arsene Wenger generation has done is leave behind a legacy that has made many people support the club.
And it seems as though Palace’s £20 million star (Sky Sports) is no different, as he shared his thoughts on the club.
On a game that made him fall in love with football when he was younger: “Arsenal game when I was younger,” said Eze. “When they were away in the maroon kit. Henry was playing. Van Persie as well.
“I was like this is what I want to be doing. This is where I want to be. Just seeing the energy in that place, it was just everything.”

NOW FOR ANOTHER LEGACY…
Arsenal fans have been through a lot of heartache for well over a decade now, cracks have been papered over big time, whilst on other occasions, they have been clearly visible for all to see.
Given some of the squads Wenger had to work with post-2012, it beggars belief how he still managed to secure Champions League football time and time again, as well as win FA Cups.
But, in recent times, going out of Europe altogether in over two decades was the best thing that happened to the club.
The typical, whilst you take one step back, you take two steps forward and that’s what this team are doing under Arteta.
