‘It says all you need to know’: Southampton fans react to Manolo Gabbiadini’s impending exit

The Southampton hitman looks to be on the move, according to reports.

Manolo Gabbiadini seems to have finally put his Southampton nightmare behind him, by agreeing a £10.8 million switch to Sampdoria subject to a medical, according to the Guardian.

The 27-year-old joined the Saints from Napoli in January 2017, but he has really struggled to establish himself in England, netting just 12 goals for the south coast club.

Ralph Hasenhüttl was obviously not a big fan of the Italian, preferring Danny Ings and Charlie Austin during his short time in charge of Southampton thus far.

The Saints are currently in a whole world of trouble, and they sit in 18th spot in the Premier League table, so the Austrian will surely now be on the look out for an upgrade on Gabbiadini.
