Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno has told Monday Night Football, which was broadcast on Sky Sports, that Leeds United are a huge challenge to play against.
Wolves won 1-0 against Leeds at Elland Road, but they didn’t have it all their own way.
Leeds were much the better side in the first-half of the contest, but Wolves started to get a grip on the game as it progressed.
Nuno’s men were much improved during the second period, which is often a feature of their play.
And when asked why Wolves looked so much better in the second 45 minutes, Nuno was keen to praise Leeds for making it so difficult for them.
“It’s very hard to play against Leeds, the way they defend, the way they go man to man. It is difficult to release and find the spaces,” Nuno said.
“The boys then started to do the things that can unbalance that situation and driving with the ball. We needed to show a bit more patience to unbalance Leeds.”

Wolves eventually got their reward for their patience when Raul Jimenez’s shot deflected in off Kalvin Phillips.
The goal was slightly fortunate, but Wolves will feel it was deserved for their play in the second period.
Nuno’s side have now moved up to sixth place in the Premier League table, while Leeds have dropped down into 10th position.
