West Ham United manager David Moyes has hammered Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy following the London derby on Saturday, as quoted in Football.London.
Moyes has said that Mendy “faked a shoulder injury” against Jarrod Bowen during the Premier League game between Chelsea and West Ham at Stamford Bridge in London on Saturday.
In the final stages of the game, Maxwel Cornet had the ball in the back of the net for the Hammers.
Cornet thought that he had made it 2-2.
However, the goal was overturned, and Chelsea eventually went on to win the London derby 2-1.
In the build-up to the goal, there appeared to be a clash between West Ham attacker Jarrod Bowen and Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy.
VAR Jarred Gillet sent referee Andy Madley to the pitchside monitor to review the decision.

Madley ruled out of the goal, stating that there was a foul on Mendy from Bowen.
The £52,000-a-week (Spotrac) Chelsea goalkeeper seemed hurt in the incident, but Moyes believes that he was faking an injury.

Moyes said: “If you ask me, he faked a shoulder injury. It didn’t affect him playing the last 15 minutes or whatever it was after that.”
It was a controversial decision from the referee to overturn the goal, and we think that it should have been given.
