Nottingham Forest and Derby County are both said to be keen on signing Jack Marriott this summer.

Bristol City are set to move for Jack Marriott, as they look to replace Bobby Reid – meaning Nottingham Forest and Derby County both face missing out on the forward, unless they move swiftly.
Both Forest and Derby are said to want Marriott, as reported by the Bristol Post, and the same paper claims that Lee Johnson’s side are looking to steal in a march in the race to sign the Peterborough United forward.
Marriott hit 33 goals last term, which attracted the attentions of a host of Championship clubs.

Bristol City are aiming to beat the competition to sign Marriott though, and that puts Forest and Derby under pressure.
Marriott is said to favour a move to Forest, but Posh have not received an acceptable offer from Aitor Karanka’s side.

Derby are also thought to be weighing up a move, with Matej Vydra’s future in doubt, but they may not be able to think about the striker for too much longer.
And if Forest and Derby want to sign Marriott then they need to enter the bidding sooner rather than later, otherwise they could be watching the Posh hitman move to one of their Championship rivals this summer.
