Gary Lineker has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Frank Lampard’s Everton winning against Chelsea and closing the gap on Leeds United and Burnley.
Everton have got the better of Chelsea 1-0 at Goodison Park in the Premier League this afternoon.
Brazilian forward Richalison scored the only goal of the match in the first half.
Everton close gap on Leeds and Burnley
The result means that Frank Lampard’s side are now third from bottom in the Premier League table with 32 points from 33 matches.
Everton are two points behind Burnley and Leeds, who are 16th and 17th respectively.
Both Leeds and Burnley have played 34 games.

Former Everton striker and MOTD presenter Lineker is delighted with the win for the Toffees, and believes that the Merseyside club could still escape the dreaded drop from the Premier League.
Fight for survival
In our opinion, the fight for survival in the Premier League will go down to the wire, and Leeds, Burnley and Everton all are in danger.
Norwich City have already been relegated, and we think that it is only a matter of time before Watford join them in the Championship.
Leeds do have a good team, but Burnley are on a roll and are winning games at the moment.
