West Ham United experienced somewhat of a difficult campaign this season.

West Ham ace Issa Diop sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and responded when asked to sum up their season in just three words.
The Hammers experienced somewhat of a difficult Premier League campaign, although they did manage to finish side the top 10, after winning their final three games of the season.
Diop himself proved to be a key player for West Ham, and the £22 million (BBC Sport) that Pellegrini paid for his services is now starting to look like a real coup.
The east London outfit will be expected to push for the top seven next season, and in order to do that, Pellegrini must strengthen his options this summer.
The French centre-back spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and suggested that inconsistency plagued his team this season, responding when asked to sum up their campaign in just three words:

“Inconsistent. Big games.”
Upon reflection, 10th place wasn’t a bad finish for West Ham this term, but everyone involved with the club will be expecting a lot better next term, and Diop will certainly be hoping to help his team keep more clean sheets.
The Frenchman has showcased already what he is capable of, and if he continues to improve he will undoubtedly go on to become a legend at the London Stadium.
