The West Ham United defender commented on his club’s fans today.

West Ham ace Issa Diop sat down for an exclusive interview with French media outlet Foot Mercato, and raved about the Hammers fanbase, labelling them as the best supporters in England.
The 21-year-old joined West Ham from Toulouse in the summer, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £22 million, and he has made an instant impression in east London.
The Hammers have made an inconsistent start to their 2018/19 Premier League campaign, but Diop’s performances have been a real positive for Manuel Pellegrini.
The Frenchman sat down for an exclusive interview with French publication Foot Mercato, and spoke highly of the West Ham fans, labelling them as the best supporters in England:

“The atmosphere is incredible. Every weekend, the stadiums are full. In addition at West Ham, we are lucky to have very good supporters. They are the best fans in England. So that’s why the atmosphere is very good there.”
West Ham have two weeks off before they return to action with a home clash against Pep Guardiola’s magnificent Manchester City team.
And the Hammers fans will have to be at their vociferous best, if Pellegrini’s men are to have any chance whatsoever of taking anything from the game.
