The West Ham United winger enjoyed a superb first season in the Premier League.
West Ham ace Issa Diop spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and raved about the technique of Felipe Anderson, when asked to pick his goal of the season.
Anderson enjoyed a successful debut campaign in England with the Hammers, racking up 10 goals and five assists in 40 appearances in all competitions.
The Brazilian winger brought a certain amount of flair and trickery to the West Ham team this season, and he has already firmly established himself as a fan favourite at the London Stadium.
And Diop offered high words of praise for Anderson’s ability, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, singling out his strike against Crystal Palace as his choice for goal of the season:
“The best goal we scored this season? Let me think… Not mine against Fulham or Wimbledon. Felipe Anderson’s goal against Crystal Palace was the best for me. Fantastic technique.”
West Ham will be looking to kick on again next season and push for a top seven spot.
And if the Hammers are to have any chance whatsoever of doing just that, they will need the Brazilian winger to be on his very best form for the entirety of the campaign.
