West Ham United defender Issa Diop has been praised by most the London Stadium crowd.

Issa Diop has told West Ham United’s official website that he doesn’t feel he’s played well.
Diop was a big addition at West Ham over the summer, and he has been thrown in at the deep end at the London Stadium.
Diop has gone straight into Manuel Pellegrini’s starting line-up and has enjoyed great praise.
The centre-back’s partnership with Fabian Balbuena has looked solid throughout the campaign.
But Diop claims that he has not performed up to his own high standards.
“I’ve not played well. I need to improve and I hope I improve quickly,” he said.
“Maybe people have said I have been impressive, but we [have] conceded too many goals. For me I know I can do more and I can play better.”

Diop even earned praise from Jose Mourinho after West Ham beat Manchester United earlier this season.
West Ham have let in 18 goals in their first 12 Premier League matches to date.
The Hammers are next in action at the weekend, when they take on top of the table Manchester City, where Diop could be in for his toughest test to date.
