Paul Merson has noted in SportsKeeda that Tottenham Hotspur winger Ivan Perisic is not getting any younger.
The former Arsenal star has said that he likes Perisic and has been impressed by the Tottenham summer signing.
However, the Sky Sports pundit has noted that the Croatia international winger is not getting any younger.
The 33-year-old moved to Tottenham on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 after leaving former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners Inter Milan.
Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte worked with Perisic at Inter, and they won the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia in 2021-22.
Perisic is playing as a right wing-back for Spurs at the moment.

Paul Merson on Tottenham Hotspur’s Ivan Perisic
Merson wrote: “With Tottenham, though, Emerson Royal is not good enough and tends to struggle badly when he’s off it.
“I like Ivan Perisic, but he isn’t getting any younger, so Conte has a thing or two to think about.”
Nothing to worry about
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur fans need not worry about Ivan Perisic’s age.
Spurs knew the Croatian’s age when they signed him, and they are fully aware of what he can and cannot do.
The winger/wing-back was a regular at Inter last season, and he can easily play week in and week out for Spurs this campaign.
Perisic has made five starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, providing three assists in the process.
The experienced star has also given one assist in three UEFA Champions League games so far this campaign.
