Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are interested in signing Ismaila Sarr from Watford in the summer transfer window, according to 90min.
What’s the story?
It has been reported by 90min that Liverpool have rekindled their interest in Sarr.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been a long-term admirer of the 23-year-old winger, who cost Watford £30 million when they signed him from Rennes in 2019.
Liverpool wanted to sign the Senegal international on loan in 2020, but the Hornets turned down then.
The former Premier League champions are interested in the winger once again now.
It is being reported that Liverpool have actually made a move for Sarr and are willing to pay up to £40 million for the youngster.
The report has added that the winger has told Watford that he wants to leave and wants to make the move to Liverpool.

Would Ismaila Sarr make Liverpool better?
Yes, Liverpool have four superb attacking players in Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota.
But, there is always room for another quality attacking player, especially one who has been described as “exciting” and “electrifying” by former Liverpool striker Emile Heskey on HITC Sport in February 2021.
Sarr is quick, scores goals and creates chances, and at the age of 23, it is fair to say that he can only improve.
The Watford no.23 scored 13 goals and gave four assists in the Championship last season.
The winger scored five goals and gave four assists in the Premier League in 2019-20.
