With Leicester City reportedly looking to move on Islam Slimani, they may struggle to find suitors in the Premier League, though Newcastle and West Brom are said to be interested.
Islam Slimani’s move to Leicester City has not quite worked out, with the 29-year-old forward scoring just eight times in all competitions last season.
And the Leicester Mercury suggests the Foxes could now make Slimani available in order to pay off a £25million move for Kelechi Iheanacho, with fellow Premier League clubs linked with moves for the forward.

Although the Birmingham Mail claims West Bromwich Albion will not revisit their earlier interest, Le Buteur lists the Baggies alongside Newcastle United as potential suitors.
Having moved for a reported £29m – according to the BBC – last year, though, and with Leicester seemingly set on recouping a hefty fee to help with their business this summer, the move seems incredibly risky.
Nacer Chadli is, per the BBC, West Brom’s record signing for around £13m and Tony Pulis’ side were comfortable in mid-table last season.
Newcastle, meanwhile, splashed out £17m on Michael Owen some 12 years ago – again according to the BBC – and have just been promoted back to the top flight, missing out on last season’s television deal and prize money.
While the two clubs are in very differing situations, a big-money move for Slimani, who failed to impress last term, is surely unlikely for either.
Even in this inflated market, there must be better deals elsewhere for both sides. Leicester will do well to move on Slimani.
