Crystal Palace only have two senior strikers and both Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham are out injured.

Crystal Palace left themselves thin in the striking department following the summer transfer window, and have paid the price.
Both Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham are currently sidelined through injury, leaving manager Roy Hodgson with no recognised centre forward to choose from as he tries to lift Palace off the bottom of the Premier League.
This is surely an area which Hodgson will be look to bolster in January, and here are three potential targets…

Charlie Austin
The 28-year-old has already proven that he can score goals in a struggling Premier League team, notching 18 times for Queens Park Rangers in the 2014-15 season.
Palace aren’t a creative side and need a striker who can make the most of the chances that comes his way. Austin is an excellent finisher and yet Southampton don’t seem to have much time for him.
Paco Alcacer
The Spaniard is not getting a sniff at Barcelona and could offer something different to Benteke, or play alongside him, with his technique and intelligent movement a good foil for the big Belgian.

According to Spanish outlet Diario Sport, via talkSPORT, the 24-year-old will be made available when the transfer window reopens, and Palace are one of the clubs who are keeping tabs.
Islam Slimani
While Austin and Alcacer are different types of strikers to Benteke, this Leicester City target man would be a like-for-like replacement should the ex-Liverpool forward fall injured or out of form, which he is liable to do.
Slimani, who BBC Sport report cost the Foxes £29m from Sporting Lisbon in 2016, has only made one league start this season but could be very useful to Palace as he leads the line well and is formidable in the air.
