Isaac Hayden has made 10 appearances for Newcastle United so far.

Isaac Hayden has told Newcastle United’s official website that he was putting too much pressure on himself to perform.
Hayden joined Newcastle from Arsenal in the summer transfer window, and he has been determined to make an impression at St. James’ Park.
However, the 21-year-old feels that his desire to succeed has actually worked against him.

Hayden says that his standard has dipped in Newcastle’s last two matches, but Rafael Benitez has had a word with him to try and ease the pressure the central midfielder was feeling.
“I’d say probably the last couple of games – I didn’t play in the Rotherham game and maybe I was a little bit tense in my game, putting too much pressure on myself a little bit, in the couple of games leading up to it,” Hayden said.
“The manager spoke to me about [that] and he just helped me understand what he wanted from me, what he wanted from my game, and I think that helped me.”

Hayden has made 10 appearances for Newcastle this season, and he has generally impressed.
The England under 21 international’s energy has caught the eye, and he appears to have a key role to play as Newcastle go for promotion.
It remains to be seen whether Hayden will be selected to start in Newcastle’s upcoming match, which comes against Brentford on Saturday.
