The 21-year-old, who can play as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, has left Premier League club Arsenal for Championship outfit Newcastle in the summer transfer window.
The England Under-20 international has taken to Twitter to send emotional messages to the fans of the Gunners and the Magpies.

Hayden had been on the books of Arsenal since 2008, but the youngster failed to make a single appearance in the Premier League for the Gunners.
The defender played on loan for Hull City from the North London outfit during the 2015-16 season.

The youngster scored one goal and created 13 chances in 17 Championship appearances for the Tigers last season.
The England Under-20 international had a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 40%, and won eight headers, 13 dribbles and 13 tackles.
Hayden will be aiming to establish himself in the Newcastle starting lineup under manager Rafael Benitez.
Newcastle will feature in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
