Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden has been one of Rafael Benitez’s side’s best players in recent months.

Hayden has been linked with a move away from Newcastle for some time, with the midfielder suggesting that he wanted out last summer.
However, Hayden has been a key player for the Magpies this term, and his form in recent months has been outstanding.
There was a hope around St. James’ Park that Hayden’s mind may just have been changed.
However, the midfielder has suggested that he expects to leave Newcastle in the coming weeks once again.
‘I think I will be going. I have spoken to the club about it and they’ve been open and honest with me,” Hayden said.
“I’m pretty sure this will be my last game at home. In football, you never know, so I can’t say for definite, although it’s looking like [the Liverpool defeat was] my last game here.
“You could arguably say I’m worth more now than what they would have asked for in January or last summer, because I’ve played a lot more games. But that’s for them to decide.

“I’ve always had confidence in my ability and now I’ve had the opportunity to show it. It’s about finding the right opportunity next; one that will allow the club to maximise the profit, and be right for myself.”
Hayden will be very difficult for Newcastle to replace, given his whole-hearted performances of late.
The former Arsenal man, who is on a £22,000-a-week contract with Newcastle (Spotrac), is clearly trusted by Rafael Benitez.
Hayden has already been linked with West Ham United in the Telegraph.
