Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden is reportedly in demand.

Newcastle United defensive midfielder Isaac Hayden has spoken highly of the fans to The Chronicle.

The 24-year-old former England Under-21 international is pleased with the support the fans have given to him during his time at Newcastle so far.

Reflecting on the last game of the season against Fulham, Hayden told The Chronicle: “It was emotional. It was one of those things that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

“When I signed three years ago I could never have imagined a reception like that if I left. It’s credit to them, they have stuck by me and by the team.”

Leaving Newcastle United

According to The Chronicle, Hayden wants to leave Newcastle in the summer transfer window.

Aston Villa, West Ham United and Brighton and Hove Albion are reported to be interested in securing the services of the former Arsenal prospect.

It has also been reported that Newcastle are likely to demand a transfer fee over £15 million for Hayden.

According to WhoScored, Hayden made 21 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists in the process.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the defensive midfielder made 15 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the league for the Magpies, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.

Hayden will be a good signing for Villa, West Ham or Brighton in the summer transfer window.
