Isaac Hayden, who joined Newcastle United in the summer, also suggests a similarity between him and Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
Newcastle United defender Isaac Hayden has told The Northern Echo why he left Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old centre-back, who can also operate as a defensive midfielder, left Premier League outfit Arsenal to move to Championship club Newcastle.
The youngster, who played on loan for Hull City last season, failed to make a single Premier League appearance for the Gunners.

The England Under-21 international has explained why he left Arsenal in the summer.
Hayden has suggested that his decision to move to Newcastle is vindicated by the fact that he is playing regular first-team club football.
The youngster has also outlined a similarity between him and Tottenham Hotspur duo Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
“It was always going to be necessary for me to leave Arsenal,” Hayden told The Northern Echo. “They have a lot of players, I wasn’t going to get a chance, so I had to go to a club and to get a chance to come to a club as big as this was great.
“But if you look at players my age you could probably think of two English lads, Dele Alli and Eric Dier, maybe, who are my age playing regularly in the Premier League.
“Even in the Championship there aren’t that many my age. It is about getting as much experience as I can.”

Newcastle, who got relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, are going strong in the Championship at the moment.
Rafael Benitez’s side are currently at the top of the league table with 37 points from 16 matches.
The Magpies are three points clear of second-placed Brighton & Hove Albion and are firm favourites to win the Championship title this season.
