Hayden was signed in the summer from Arsenal, after a loan spell at Hull City.
Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden feels he has improved in a couple of areas as a player under the guidance of Rafa Benitez, the Chronicle reports.
Hayden signed for the Magpies in the summer from Arsenal, and has made a total of 19 appearances so far in all competitions, scoring one goal.

The 21-year-old has said he has never had the kind of help from any other manager before that he receives from the Spaniard.
He is quoted in the Chronicle, saying: “I’ve improved tactically. His experience and his tactical knowledge is massive.
“I have never really had that in a manager so far. Individually, talking to me and helping me is something I have never had.
“So tactically and positionally I am far better than when I first came. The main thing the manager has instilled in us is belief.”

Hayden seems to have the trust of his manager as he has featured in all but two of Newcastle’s 19 league games this season – which sees them on top of the table despite a recent blip in form with back-to-back defeats.
There’s obviously a lot for the player to learn as he is still a very young. It’s clear that Benitez saw something in him prior to his arrival and has got to work on improving Hayden in certain areas of his game.
Benitez always seems keen to see further improvement from his players. Hayden’s comments don’t really come as a surprise.
