Newcastle United’s Isaac Hayden appears to be on the move.

Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden has told NUFC TV that he has loved playing for the club, and will feel proud of his part with the club if he does leave this summer.
The Magpies lost 3-2 at home to Liverpool on Saturday night, suffering late heartbreak as Divock Origi’s late goal condemned them to defeat in their final home game of the season.
Newcastle players took part in the usual lap of honour at the end of a season, but it may have been more emotional for midfielder Hayden than others.
Hayden, 24, left Arsenal to join Newcastle in the summer of 2016 as Rafael Benitez lured him to the North East, and he’s racked up almost 100 appearances for the club.
However, Hayden’s partner gave birth to a daughter last year, and she relocated to the South West shortly after, meaning Hayden has been away from his family all this time.
Much has been made of Hayden handing in a transfer request to try and get a move back down south, but Newcastle have so far kept him on Tyneside.

Hayden has impressed this season, and has now admitted that he’s loved every minute of his time with the club, but his family situation is simply more important.
Hayden praised the Newcastle fans after what appears to have been his final home game at St James’ Park, and admitted that he will look back on his time with the club fondly if he does go, with the midfielder seemingly suggesting that he’s expecting to move on this summer.
“This has been fantastic, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it,” said Hayden. “My family situation is more important to me at this moment in time, it’s been a pleasure to play for Newcastle United, and you never know what the future holds. It’s been a pleasure to play in front of these fans every other week, and since I came to the club, we were in the Championship, three years on, we’ve become a stable Premier League outfit. I can look back on it, if I do go, that I’ve participated in something that has been quite successful,” he added.
