Ashley Young is back in form for Manchester United… is a recent clash with Tottenham’s Dele Alli the reason?

Ashley Young has netted three goals in his last two games and has rolled back the clock.
The Manchester United winger turned full-back may be 32-years-old, but he is putting himself in the mix to gatecrash England’s World Cup squad.
A number of reasons are behind Young’s return to form.
The faith of manager Jose Mourinho, and the failure of his Manchester United teammates to nail down the left-back spot.
But one key factor could be a clash with Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli.

The duo argued on the pitch during the clash at Old Trafford last month, and Alli had some choice words for Young.
Young reportedly responded by telling Alli to come back when he has won a Premier League title.
Alli’s Tottenham currently sit eight points behind United, and Alli’s taunt at Young looks mis-advised.
But that jab from the Tottenham youngster may just have motivated Ashley Young to up his game and roll back the clock.
He is in arguably his best form since he signed at Old Trafford in 2011, and could even save United money in the transfer market in January.
