Tottenham Hotspur-linked Philippe Coutinho touched down in Miami on Tuesday, where Daniel Levy was on Sunday.

As a rule of thumb, the closer we get to deadline day, the sillier the rumours – but there could be something in Tottenham Hotspur’s reported pursuit of Philippe Coutinho.
The Times reported on Tuesday that Spurs wanted to sign the out-of-favour Barcelona playmaker on loan for an eye-watering £21 million fee.
When you consider Coutinho’s wages, and the massive loan amount, this doesn’t seem like the archetypal Daniel Levy signing, but it could have legs.
After all, Levy and the Brazilian star might be in the same city.
Speaking after Tottenham’s draw with Inter Milan on Sunday, Mauricio Pochettino claimed that he hadn’t spoken to the North Londoners’ chairman because he was in Miami [Football London].
And who landed in the Sunshine State yesterday? Yep, Coutinho.
Barcelona touched down in the United States for a friendly with Napoli today and although it could be a coincidence, it could also be indicative of something a lot more exciting.
There must be a reason why the Lilywhites chief is there and considering that it’s his busiest time of the year, it’s unlikely to be for leisure.
But time will tell whether there’s any significance to this.
