The young Leeds United midfielder was spotted at Northern Ireland’s training camp earlier this week.

The young Leeds United midfielder, Alfie McCalmont, has received congratulations from an unlikely source after training with the Northern Ireland senior squad this week.
McCalmont starred for Leeds’ Professional Development League-winning side this past campaign, but is still awaiting his first-team breakthrough and only recently won his first Under-21 international caps.
Nevertheless, the 19-year-old was pictured at the Green and White Army’s Manchester training camp on Tuesday.
And he was sent the following tweet by Michael Owen, the former Manchester United and England striker, on Wednesday afternoon.
Before McCalmont replied:
The exchange has caused some confusion among those of a Leeds persuasion, although it has since been claimed that McCalmont is managed by Owen’s sports management company (Leeds Live).
Owen, who also represented Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle United and Stoke City, retired from playing in 2013.

Could McCalmont break in at Leeds next season?
