Idris Kanu is a big fan of one Manchester United star.
General view during the match
Manchester United may just have made an impressive swoop outside of the transfer window.
Talented striker Idris Kanu, 16, took a trial with the Red Devils last week, and scored twice to give himself a real chance of earning a deal.
Kanu had been on West Ham’s books although as he is not yet 17 has not been able to sign a professional deal. He played and scored for their under-21 side last season and there were high hopes for him at the Hammers.
One reason he may be so keen to join Manchester United is his admiration of their new star man Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
As United beat Southampton 2-0 a fortnight ago and the Swedish superstar netted a brace, Kanu sent a tweet discussing his admiration for Zlatan.

For a young starstruck striker, the chance to train alongside the modern day legend might just have been a decisive, or at least contributing factor in Kanu’s decision.
The path to the first team will be a long one for the teenager, but after the way Marcus Rashford has broken through in the past few months, Kanu has reason to believe it might actually happen at the Red Devils for him.
