Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter in anger after the club announced that the clash with Manchester United has now been moved.
What’s the story?
Well, you can understand why the Aston Villa fans are furious.
Dean Smith’s men were supposed to take on the Red Devils at 3pm on Saturday 25th September.
However, the game has now been moved to 12:30pm, causing issues for hundreds of supporters who have already arranged their trips to Old Trafford.
Perhaps worst of all, Aston Villa’s statement doesn’t even include a reason for the change – it merely informs supporters that it’s happening.
In fairness to the Villans, it probably isn’t their fault. Changes like this are usually the responsibility of TV broadcasters such as Sky Sports or BT Sport.
Poor Aston Villa fans, it’s just not good enough

How does this keep happening in football? How is it allowed?
The juggernauts that are Sky Sports and BT Sport seem to be able to do whatever they want at the click of a finger, with little regard for anyone else.
Fans have spent their money on train tickets, or other forms of transport, only for this to happen.
With everything going on in the world, and all the inconvenience it has already caused to people, why can’t games just stay at their arranged time?

It isn’t a huge ask.
Hopefully, the Premier League can one day announce a ban on this sort of disruption, unless there’s a pretty good reason.
If this is just so the TV cameras can get a glimpse of Cristiano Ronaldo, then that’s very, very disappointing – to say the least.
For now, let’s see what the Aston Villa fans on Twitter have been saying about the club’s announcement…
