Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after spotting Jack Wilshere at the Emirates Stadium last night, amid talk he could train with the Gunners.

What’s the story?

Well, the 29-year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Bournemouth, and Mikel Arteta has opened the door to Wilshere coming back to train.

The Spaniard told Sky Sports: “We are in conversations with Jack to understand what he needs, what he’s looking for.

“It’s a person and a player that has a huge admiration around everybody, not just the players or fans, but all staff around here and we are willing to help him as much as we possibly can, he knows that.”

Now, it seems like Arsenal have began to take steps to make that happen, as Wilshere was seen wearing official club gear at the Emirates Stadium.

On the other hand, we can see the England international is wearing a quarter-zip underneath, so perhaps someone just gave him a club coat so he could stay warm.

Nevertheless, it’s certainly an interesting image, which carries plenty of possibilities.

Should Arsenal let Jack Wilshere come back?

In our view, letting Wilshere come back to London Colney for training would be a masterstroke by Arteta.

He is someone who will surely be a role model for the likes of Charlie Patino and Miguel Azeez.

Just imagine Wilshere lending his vast experience to the pair, both of whom are midfielders, just like him.

The ex-West Ham man can help guide the duo to regular first-team football, and let them know what they must do to please Arteta.

Additionally, it would just be nice to see Arsenal helping out a Hale End graduate in his time of need, and allow him to maintain his fitness.

Keep an eye on the situation, as we could hear something soon.

For now, let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about Wilshere…
