Celtic are at risk of missing out on Timothy Weah.

Timothy Weah made a good impression on his loan spell at Celtic.
Bringing him back would be a sensible move, but it’s not easy. In fact it seemed yesterday like they had totally missed out.
L’Equipe reported that Weah was set to clinch a £8.9 million move to Ligue 1 side Lille.
However that deal is not quite done, with mystery clubs complicating the move.
Le10Sport report ‘other options’ also exist for Weah, and that there is no agreement.

At the least, this gives Celtic time if they want to make a last ditch attempt to bring back the striker.
The best case scenario would be that Celtic have already made a move and are one of Weah’s new options.
One thing is clear, and that’s if Celtic want Weah, they will have to pay a substantial amount, possibly even higher than the £8.9 million fee mooted.
