Arsenal fans are excited after Gabriel Martinelli was spotted back in full training yesterday.
Martinelli was pictured competing for a ball with Gabriel in the air, as he steps up his recovery from injury.
The Arsenal striker has been out since June with a serious injury, but seems to be closing in on a return now.
And although Arsenal’s official website have suggested that Martinelli could still be out for a while yet, the pictures of the Brazilian youngster being back in training have certainly encouraged Arsenal fans that he could be back sooner rather than later.
When Martinelli does return there may well be an opening for him up-front.
Arteta has generally picked Alexandre Lacazette to lead the line this term, but the Frenchman hasn’t been particularly impressive to date.
Arsenal still need to find a goalscorer, and there are hopes that Martinelli could fill that void in time, when he is back to full fitness.
