Swansea City are reportedly tracking Barnsley’s Andy Yiadom – meaning Wolves could be in luck as they attempt to lure Stephen Kingsley.

Swansea City’s decision to appoint and then sack Bob Bradley within the space of 85 days appeared to epitomise the increasingly baffling decision making at the top level of this so-called ‘model club’.
Yet, they looked doomed under the out-of-water American. And, although they are just a point above the bottom three, their chances of survival would be slim at best if Paul Clement had not taken over before the transfer window and reinforced an underachieving squad with the excellent Martin Olsson, The Sun reports.
The Swedish flyer has netted twice in eight Premier League games from left-back though, beyond him, there is a real lack of depth.
Therefore, it’s perhaps no surprise that The Sun claims that Swansea are tracking Barnsley left-back Andy Yiadom with a view to a summer bid. The 25-year-old, a member of Ghana’s 2017 African Cup of Nations squad, has stood out in his first season at Oakwell, helping the club adapt to the second tier and avoid a relegation battle.

Consequently, the addition of two new left-backs in successive transfer windows speaks volumes about how Clement rates Stephen Kingsley.
The 22-year-old Scot, signed to great anticipation from Falkirk in 2014, played 10 times in the Premier League this season but did little to suggest he belongs at the top level. Despite taking the place of the experienced Neil Taylor, his propensity for an aimless long ball hinted at a lack of technique.

However, that has not stopped Wolves from taking an interest, as reported by The Sun. Right-footed full-back Matt Doherty has been forced to fill in on the left recently, meaning Paul Lambert is crying out for reinforcements in the summer.
And, if Kingsley is forced out by Yiadom’s arrival, Wolves could get their man. After failing to impress in the top flight, it appears that he is far better suited to Championship football anyway.
