Ben Marshall medical – three words Sheffield Wednesday fans are all too used to hearing at this time of year.
Marshall shone for Wednesday on loan during the first half of their successful 2011-12 campaign, which saw them promoted to the Championship at Sheffield United’s expense.

Their paths have never quite aligned however, with Marshall heading on to Blackburn Rovers and Wolverhampton Wanderers – where he has played 199 minutes of Championship football this season – in recent years.

But after news that the 26-year-old could be on his travels this winter – as reported by the Sun on Sunday… on Sunday – don’t be surprised to see his name crop up again in connection with a return to Hillsborough.
