Celtic-owned Ross Doohan kept seven clean sheets in a row.

With Celtic stuttering domestically and on the continent, it’s hard to find one of Brendan Rodgers’s players who is bang in form at the moment.
Craig Gordon didn’t cover himself in glory in Celtic’s 1-1 draw with Suduva in Lithuania on Thursday, and the entire defence hasn’t looked all that secure since the season began.
Elsewhere, Scott Brown doesn’t yet look the same player who won virtually every individual prize at the end-of-season awards last term.
Nobody at Celtic has covered themselves in glory so far this season, except perhaps the injured Odsonne Edouard, but is the Hoops’ most in-form player someone who Rodgers loaned out?
Young goalkeeper Ross Doohan helped Ayr United to a 4-1 win over Championship rivals Dunfermline on Saturday.
That was the first goal that the 20-year-old had conceded since July, having kept seven clean sheets in a row across all competitions until yesterday afternoon [Soccerway].
It’s obvious that Ayr boast a decent defence at the moment, but Doohan must have also played a key role in those clean sheets and it’ll be interesting to see if he maintains his form this season.
Doohan signed a four-year contract extension with Celtic prior to joining United on loan, so it looks like his parent club are expecting big things from him.
