Rangers take on Celtic this weekend.

Rangers star Andy Halliday could be set to start against Celtic this weekend.
The last time he did so, Halliday was substituted before half-time in a humiliating Scottish Cup semi-final defeat.
Halliday was embarrassed at Hampden, and Celtic fans mocked him by cheering his name.
It looked like there was no way back for the Rangers midfielder. The second half of 2018 has gone much better for him.
Halliday has benefitted more than anybody else from Steven Gerrard’s appointment as Rangers boss.
He has won the trust of Gerrard, filling in at left-back and in midfield over the course of the season.
Now heading into this weekend’s Old Firm clash, Halliday appears to be line for a starting role.

He was picked ahead of injured left-back Borna Barisic to face Hibernian at the weekend.
Gerrard preferred Halliday to both Jon Flanagan and Lee Wallace.
Halliday has the perfect opportunity to show how far he has come since his nightmare at Hampden.
It won’t be easy, but it is the chance he has been waiting for.
For Celtic to lose to a Rangers side with Halliday in the line up would be unthinkable, but suddenly it’s possible.
