Leeds United take on Premier League opposition in the fourth round of the EFL Cup tonight.

With the matches coming thick and fast for Leeds United, they are expected to make plenty of changes for this evening’s EFL Cup match against Leicester City, especially with a Friday night match against Sheffield United on the horizon.
And that could be good news for summer signing Pawel Cibicki, with many Whites fans hoping to get a glance of the 23-year-old in action.

If Cibicki starts against the Foxes, he could be in a win-win situation. Score and he becomes an instant Leeds hero; fall short and that could easily be blamed on a lack of minutes thus far.
It is a good situation for the player, who will no doubt be feeling the pressure to justify his inclusion (should he be selected), and he will know that if he gets on the score sheet against top flight opponents it will put pressure on Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen to give him more minutes in the Championship.

Thus far the Swedish forward has only managed one appearance for Leeds, in the last round of this competition against Burnley, and while he did not score on that occasion he now has the chance to write himself into the club’s history by firing them into the quarter-finals of the competition.
All eyes will be on the less familiar faces to take to the field this evening and Cibicki will be hoping it is a night that defines his Leeds career for all the right reasons.
