Manchester City will hope not if recent results are anything to go by.
For a young player who has not even started a Premier League game, Paul Pogba has attracted an awful lot of headlines over the past week.
Reports that he has signed a contract with Italian side Juventus have been dismissed, with rumours attributed to a fake Facebook page.
Sir Alex Ferguson said yesterday that the 18-year-old is still to make up his mind over his future, but he may be even more determined to keep the young Frenchman when he learns of this odd statistic:
Paul Pogba has made two substitute appearances this season, against Stoke, and against West Brom;
Manchester United have won both those games, and crucially, Manchester City have lost the games they have been playing at the same time.
Is he United’s lucky charm?
If this record carries on, Pogba will find himself starting himself every league game between now and the end of the season(!)
