Leeds United new signing Tyler Roberts is thought to be in line to start against Bristol City.

According to Leeds Live, Tyler Roberts is in line to make his first start for Leeds United in their match against Bristol City this weekend.

Roberts was brought in at Leeds from West Bromwich Albion during the January transfer window, but injury has held him back so far.

Roberts missed out on playing against Sheffield United, but could come into Paul Heckingbottom’s thinking on Sunday.

And if Roberts does get called into Leeds’ starting line-up, it could hint at a tactical change from Heckingbottom.

Leeds lined up in a 4-3-3 system against Sheffield United in their last match, but it didn’t go exactly according to plan.

Leeds lost 2-1 to the Blades, and it seems that Heckingbottom could already be forced to have a rethink.

If Roberts comes in he is likely to be used as a striker alongside Pierre Michel-Lasogga, which could hint at a tactical switch to a 4-4-2.

Lasogga scored for Leeds against the Blades, and is unlikely to be dropped, which could hint at a partnership up-top.

Leeds have generally played with a lone striker this season, so the potential of seeing a system which includes two forwards could be an exciting prospect for Whites fans.
