The on-loan Everton midfielder scored a hat-trick in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 win over Hull City.

There can be little disputing the best loan signing in the Championship this season.
Wolverhampton Wanderers’ coup of Leo Bonatini from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal is difficult to beat.
The Brazilian striker is the top scorer in the league with eight goals, and has also provided four assists to help establish Wolves as one of the favourites for promotion to the Premier League.

Behind him, Kieran Dowell at Nottingham Forest has arguably had the biggest impact on his temporary club.
Bonatini’s teammate Jota has also been a great capture for Wolves, but Dowell is proving to be the difference between a relegation battle and a playoff push for the Tricky Trees.
The on-loan Everton midfielder scored a hat-trick in Nottingham Forest’s 3-2 win over Hull City on Saturday.
He has also struck the winning goals in victories over Brentford and Sheffield United.

The result against Hull lifted Forest to within two points of the playoffs, but without Dowell’s goals they would be seven points worse off – down in 19th in the table.
That is the territory in which Forest spent most of last season, but Mark Warburton’s side are playing with the attacking flair which suggests they will stay well clear of trouble this campaign.
Dowell has been central to this improvement in confidence and style, and the Forest scouts deserve huge credit for picking him out from the Everton youth setup.
