Wolves wanted Andre Silva in January, and nobody appears to have benefitted from him staying put.

It is understandable that Milan did not want to give up on him so easily, but their decision does not appear to have worked out well for anybody.
Silva is still searching for his first Serie A goal, despite playing in five league matches since the move, albeit mostly as a substitute.
He has played in two further Europa League games without success, and he faces a challenge to make the starting line-up for the fixture against Arsenal next month.
A fresh start clearly could have done Silva good, and Wolves, who are winless in three games, would also have benefitted from having him available, given Benik Afobe’s poor start to his second spell at the club.

With the decision to keep Silva at the San Siro not really working out to anybody’s benefit, all parties may want to reconsider whether to revisit a move in the summer.
