West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini reportedly plans to promote Nathan Holland to the first-team next season.

According to The Sun, West Ham United see Nathan Holland as next season’s Declan Rice.
Rice has had a wonderful breakthrough year at the London Stadium, where he has burst into Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team and taken the Premier League by storm.
Rice is now considered one of the first names on West Ham’s teamsheet, and there is hope that Holland can do the same.
Holland has just signed a new long-term contract with West Ham, and Pellegrini reportedly intends to give him a chance next season.
However, that could be bad news for Martin Samuelsen’s hopes.
Samuelsen has been sent on a series of loan spells away from West Ham, with mixed success.

The 22-year-old has impressed for West Ham’s youth sides and at Peterborough United, but his other loan spells have been less successful.
With Holland’s impending promotion, Samuelsen’s task of getting into West Ham’s team looks a lot harder.
And if Holland, who is two years younger than him, is now ahead of him in the pecking order, it be may time for Samuelsen to move away from the London Stadium for good.
