West Ham United’s brilliant 3-1 win over Manchester United has piled more pressure on Jose Mourinho.

West Ham turned in their best performance of the season so far to beat Manchester United on Saturday.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have turned a corner of late and were deserved winners against Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils.
Marko Arnautovic was once again key for the Hammers and was Manchester United’s tormentor in chief.
Indeed Manchester United legend Paul Scholes even suggested had Arnautovic been playing for his old club they would have been much better off.
His performance showed just why Mourinho was reportedly so keen to sign the powerful Austrian during the summer (Sky Sports).
Arnautovic remained at West Ham, though, and has continued his fine form for the East Londoners in 2018.
He will undoubtedly attract attention again come the winter transfer window particularly with Manchester United under pressure from supporters to spend big.

But could Arnautovic’s apparent lack of empathy for a manager he once famously fell out with during their time together at Inter Milan turn out to be bad news for the Hammers.
Mourinho, who once said Arnautovic has the ‘mind of a child’, is hot favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked.
When asked after West Ham’s win if he felt sorry for Mourinho, Arnautovic offered a blunt response on BT Sport making it quite clear he couldn’t care less.

If Arnautovic does bear a grudge against Mourinho that could be bad news IF the Portuguese is axed by the Old Trafford side and they maintain an interest in West Ham’s star man.
With Mourinho gone, Arnautovic may be more likely to move should the Red Devils push for him again.
Hammers fans will be hoping their new talisman will be staying long-term to enjoy the best years of his career at the London Stadium.
