Leeds United have allowed Lewie Coyle to stay on loan for the rest of the season.

Lewie Coyle won’t be returning to Leeds United this month.
The Championship leaders had the option to bring him back from Fleetwood Town, who have now signed him up for another half-season loan.
According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa had no plans for him during the second half of the Whites’ season.
And you wonder whether Coyle has any sort of long-term future at Elland Road because, if he did, would Bielsa have refused the recall option?
Leeds aren’t exactly flush with recognised right-back options.
They have Luke Ayling and a makeshift option in the form of Jamie Shackleton, who played there on Sunday. Bielsa also has Gaetano Berardi and winger Stuart Dallas, but they are both injured.
There was certainly cause to recall Coyle, if Bielsa rated him that is, but this is a big indication that the Argentine doesn’t see much future for the Thorp Arch graduate at Elland Road.
If he has no role under Bielsa now, then is that likely to change when the 63-year-old has Ayling, Berardi, Dallas and Shackleton fit in the summer?
