Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban has scored in back-to-back league games out on loan.

Most Leeds fans would have written Caleb Ekuban off ever becoming a success at Elland Road after he was loaned out to Trabzonspor following a very difficult first season with the Whites.
And his doubters would have been even more convinced after he made a slow start out in Turkey, scoring once in his first nine appearances for the club.
He is still awaiting his first league start, but rightfully received a lot of plaudits following the win over Kayserispor last week when he scored a well-taken goal from the edge of the area.
The strike came just a handful of days after the death of his mother, so Ekuban understandably could not hide his emotions – nor could all his teammates stop themselves from embracing the striker.
And it now appears that Ekuban may be starting to put a bit of a goalscoring run together as he scored again on Saturday in the 3-0 win over Konyaspor.

Ekuban showed a poacher’s instinct to get onto the edge of the six-yard box as a cross was drilled across the goal. The 24-year-old slid in for his third strike in the league.
It is not actually a bad tally at all when you consider that Ekuban has not started a game in the top flight, with all 10 of his appearances coming from the bench.

He is still seemingly facing an uphill battle to try and turn his Leeds situation around given his form last year and the strikers currently available to Marcelo Bielsa.
But perhaps he is just starting to find the kind of form that may leave the Whites boss with something to think about should he sustain it for a lengthy period before his expected return next summer.
