Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has a theory how Celtic fans will view Steven Gerrard’s appointment as the Rangers manager.

Rangers have appointed Steven Gerrard as the Ibrox club’s manager, and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is delighted.
Liverpool legend Gerrard will officially take charge of Rangers from June, and current Reds boss Klopp has wished the former England international midfielder well at the Gers.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager has also given his take on what Celtic fans will make of Rangers appointing Gerrard.
Klopp told Liverpool’s official website: “If Stevie thinks it’s the right moment then I’m sure it is the right moment. If he thinks he’s ready then he’s ready.
“How I know it, Rangers are a big club in a little bit of a difficult moment still but a much better moment than a few years ago. It could be a really good fit, it could be nice, coming closer to Celtic.
“I’m pretty sure Celtic supporters don’t think, ‘Thank God, Steven Gerrard’. They think, ‘Wow, Steven Gerrard’. That can always be a sign.”

Has Jurgen Klopp got it wrong?
Celtic fans have been enjoying themselves for the past few seasons, and the 2017-18 campaign has proven to be successful as well.
While appointing Gerrard is headline-making news for Rangers, the fact is that this is the Liverpool legend’s first managerial job.
As the following comments from Celtic fans on social networking site Twitter suggest, they are not exactly scared or stunned that the former Los Angeles Galaxy star is coming to Glasgow.
