Leeds United and Derby County have both been said to be interested in Jack Marriott.

Bristol City may have taken themselves out of the race for Jack Marriott, leaving Leeds United and Derby County to fight it out for Jack Marriott.
Forest and Bristol City have both been linked with Marriott this summer, but the former have gone for Lewis Grabban, while Lee Johnson’s side snapped up Mo Eisa yesterday.
That could leave Leeds and Derby in a straight competition to get the £6.5 million forward (The Sun).
Derby have already had three bids rejected for the Peterborough United forward, while the Bristol Post suggested that Leeds were still interested recently.
Indeed Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony may well have suggested that he had contact from Leeds recently.

He said in an interview with Posh’s Youtube channel: “We’ve had another call from another club that keeps getting beaten in the market quite a bit and now they’re basically hotting up about it so we’re going to speak.”
Although Leeds were not named in that statement, they certainly fit the description.
If Derby and Leeds are to battle it out for Marriott’s signature, it could be important for both sides to win the race.
Marriott hit 33 goals last term in League One, and would surely improve both side’s strike forces if he was to arrive.
