Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter following the 4-1 win over Slavia Prague, and they’ve noticed one thing about Calum Chambers.

In response to a video of him assisting Bukayo Saka for Arsenal’s third goal on Thursday, a number of supporters said they think he’s got quicker.

Now, that is quite a claim considering the £16 million man has only recently returned from a very serious knee injury.

The 26-year-old ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea back in January 2020.

Chambers missed a year of action due to the problem, but he’s now back and raring to go – with a lot more speed in his locker too, it seems.

In our view, we can’t disagree with the Arsenal supporters.

Chambers has looked a lot more agile in recent weeks.

He does seem to have an extra yard of pace that he didn’t use to have.

Thankfully for Arsenal, it’s helping him get in more advanced positions so he can positively influence attacks.

Chambers shone in the 3-3 draw against West Ham on March 21st, where his overlapping runs caused chaos for the Hammers.

He also impressed on Thursday, assisting Saka’s goal while delivering a tidy performance overall.

Let’s see what the Arsenal fans on Twitter have been saying about the 3-cap England international’s speed…
