Some Leeds United fans on social media have been reacting after Patrick Bamford was nowhere to be seen in the training video posted on the club’s YouTube channel.
Bamford picked up a knock against Chelsea last weekend, and while Marcelo Bielsa has said he will be fit to play against Fulham, there were understandably worries when he was nowhere to be seen in training.
Bamford was snubbed from the England squad on Thursday, while he also didn’t appear in his regular spot on the Official Leeds United Podcast this week, so his schedule does seem to have changed a little bit, for one reason or another.
Of course, this absence doesn’t necessarily mean he is injured. We’ve seen earlier this season that players can be absent from training videos only to start on the weekend.
However, we’ve also seen instances where players missing from these clips haven’t played, with Liam Cooper being a good example of this just last week.
