Tottenham Hotspur look a completely different prospect when the youngster is in the side.

He may only be 21, with just 51 appearances for Tottenham Hotspur under his belt, but Harry Winks already looks like a player they simply cannot do without.
The midfielder’s performance against Borussia Dortmund proved, not for the first time this season, that Tottenham are a completely different prospect with Winks in the centre of the park, as he pulled the strings and helped them to a 2-1 victory that secured top spot in their Champions League group.

Winks showed glimpses of his outstanding talent as soon as he came onto the scene, yet this season he has reached another level, and it is hard to imagine him not fulfilling his potential and becoming a superstar for club and country.
There was a time when the thought of Tottenham starting a match without Harry Kane or Dele Alli was unthinkable but, in his own understated way, it is Winks who has become the indispensable metronome.

A superb player with the confidence of a seasoned professional and a composure on the ball that simply cannot be taught, Winks is the real deal and, if he wasn’t before, he will now be one of the first names on Tottenham’s team sheet.
They are so much better with him in the middle of the field and Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino will be well aware of that.
